Brad Dierlam

Treasurer

Born and raised in Victoria, Texas, Brad Dierlam's journey towards becoming a U.S. Marine began in October 1983. At the age of 10, he was profoundly affected by the tragic Beirut bombings and felt inspired to dedicate his life to serving as a U.S. Marine.

With unwavering support from his family, Brad enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps through the Delayed Entry Program on June 17, 1991, shortly after his parents signed a waiver allowing him to join at just 17. Following his high school graduation, Brad reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego on June 1, 1992, as part of the 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Bravo Company, Platoon 1042. He successfully graduated on August 28, 1992.

Shortly thereafter, in September 1992, he was assigned to Alpha Company, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion in San Antonio, Texas, where he started his training in the Recon Indoctrination Platoon. By May 1993, Brad had moved to the Marine Corps Communication and Electronics School in Twenty-Nine Palms, California. He graduated from the Field Radio Operators Course with the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 2531, Field Radio Operator, in August 1993.

Throughout his enlistment, Brad contributed significantly to several units including the 4th Recon Battalion, Alpha Company; 6th Motor Transport Battalion, Headquarters & Service (H&S) Company; and 4th Recon Battalion, H&S Company. Brad was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps on June 17, 1999, having risen to the rank of Sergeant.

Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, Brad pursued higher education and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Agricultural Communications. Over the past 24 years, he has built a diverse and successful career in human resources and labor relations, working across the refining, oil and gas, retail, and agricultural sectors.

Currently, he serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for an agriculturally based company in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Brad has been happily married to his wife, Allison, for over 24 years, and they are the proud parents of two children, Carter and Ella.

Apart from his professional and personal accomplishments, Brad is deeply committed to giving back to the community that shaped him.

He is honored to serve as the Treasurer of the Force Recon Association, where he continues to support and contribute to the organization that has profoundly influenced his life.
