Corey Paskvan

MGySgt. Cory Christopher Paskvan was born on June 16 th, 1977 in Silvis,

IL. He attended United Township High School in East Moline, IL. Upon

graduating High School, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and reported to

MCRD San Diego in June of 1995. He has served with the following units

over the course of his 26 year career: 2D Battalion 3rd Marine Regiment,

3D Reconnaissance Company, 3D Reconnaissance Battalion, Marine Combatant

Dive School, 2D Force Reconnaissance Company, Foreign Exchange with the

​

Royal Netherland Marine Corps, 2D Reconnaissance Battalion, and

Reconnaissance Training Company. He is a graduate of multiple Marine

Corps and specialized courses in the USMC.

His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation

Medal with combat distinguishing device “V” (2), Navy and Marine Corps

Achievement Medal (5), Good Conduct Medal (9), Military Outstanding

Volunteer Service Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon (2).
